It's a Series of Tubes!

Click on the image below for a remixed version of Ted Stevens' (R-Alaska) bizarre explanation of how the "internets" work. I apologize in advance for the condition of your sides in a few minutes!

O.K., this has nothing to do with Ted Stevens' embarassing statements (he makes ME look like a computer nerd, and I'm barely evolved past the hammer, chisel and stone tablet method of communication!). I finally figured-out the little pictures at the top of your blog! I hadn't been losing any sleep over it, mind you, but I'd often wondered about the gremlin, the fruit, and the flowering cactus. I suspected that the gremlin was an artist's rendering of seenos (tell me you don't see the resemblance!), but today when I realized that the cactus was actually a bush, it finally came to me... followed by a wave of embarassment at taking so long to get it. Impish and peachy indeed.

  2. Good work LWJ!

I'll have another test of your deductatory abilities(to coin a new Bushism) up in a day or so.

  3. I just heard a rumor that the flip side of Stevens' new hit single is called "Bridge over Troubled Waters (to Nowhere)."
