There’s been a recent flurry of new Plamegate news, starting with minor skirmishes over access to evidence, missing e-mails, and this great Murray Waas article, all dissected in great detail by Reddhead, emptywheel, and eriposte, among others.To give the nano-summary of it all, Libby looks more and more like the firewall for Cheney and the rest of the WHIG, in an effort to keep the depths of the conspiracy to attack Joe Wilson from becoming public. Cheney still looks like the big fish, who has been lying all along, and Fitzgerald still seems to be playing them all like a violin.
